| Our local annual competition is judged by our two horticultural
experts from General Services at Derwentside District Council, Richard
Huggins and John Snailham (who was Young Horticulturalist
of the Year way back when - sorry for embarrassing you John, but you
certainly know your primulas from your petunias!). |

Richard and John have supported The Bloomers since we had our very
first meeting back in 2003. Their knowledge, advice and help has
been invaluable, and we would not be able to go for Northumbria
in Bloom without it. Grateful thanks to both!
