I'm delighted that our street was picked for this project. I also think that Thomas Street could be made to look special if everyone put in a little effort.

We tidied up our small front patch last spring and hung up two wall planters which, because of the north facing situation that keeps the front in shade for most of the day, we filled with trailing begonias. If I say so myself they looked stunning. I did hope at the time they might inspire one or two others to maybe do the same this year.

Your letter might be just the kick start they need to get going - I do hope so.
